Speaking at TEDx in Brighton was something I never imagined doing when I started Kitesurfing. But on Friday in front of a packed 1200 audience at the Brighton Dome I delivered a keynote on the topic 'Losing Control'. I spoke in the final slot and tailored my talk around my career and my views of life. I argued that losing control can be a good things in our lives. How can we ever learn if we do not make mistakes? To close my discussion I spoke about how I think our generation is so dependent on technology, are we maybe missing the real special moments of life?
Look out for the video soon which I will post as soon as TEDx release it.
