Mid April I headed to round 2 of The World Kite League. Yes you guessed it, in France. The Mondial Du Vent in it's 20th year was held in Leucate just off the Spanish border in the south east of the country. Not all the events are drivable so I took to this one on the road passing Paris and Style Altitude HQ in the mountains on the way. This was the 5th time I have been to the event and typically it's one of the craziest windiest places I have ever been. This time however the wind deserted us leaving the big air discipline frustratingly incomplete once more. Thanks Brittany Ferries who helped me over the channel.

It's been quite something that the first 2 events have produced no result in the Big Air division, but really this has suited me perfectly as by the next event in August I might be nearly back to full fitness.
