I revisited my old High School St Andrews to speak to the year 9 and 10 students. The School had been incredible during my serious injury this year by raising money for my fundraiser and it was a great moment for me to thank them. I chose not to focus the whole Assembly on my recovery and rather to engage them about their future and what may lie ahead. 16 years ago I left the school, and I remember very vividly that I had no idea what I wanted to do after. I sat in the chairs and had no idea that the sport of kitesurfing would ignite such a strong passion within me and help guide me through my life. This is the message I wanted to portray, to stay open to all opportunities in life and stay positive.
